Girls!

It was nearly impossible to take the serious picture. It didn't even really turn out. Thats the beauty of sisters though. So much spunk! Laurel is our model here, Brooke looks like she has a secret secret, Me well I like dazed, and Alyssa is trying not to crack a smile!

Books or babies...

 Here is just a little taste of what I have been up to lately. Instead of studying for finals I have been working on a children's book. Its going to be simply darling!! Honestly I can't wait. This page of course is a teaser...like a good commercial leaving you desperately craving more. Its the climax of course. Actually I am sturggling with this page. I keep hearing my squawking high school teacher's voice saying you can't use all of a sudden to make it exciting. What else on earth do you use though? All of a sudden...see aren't you excited? It works for me...Oh I also included a picture of what I should be focused on instead of this book...physiology. EW! Thank goodness I am not going to be a nurse! I am starting to realize that my slight fear of blood and insides may have been problematic.

Go Cougars! Actually although this picture is from football season I am sad to report it is now a disappointing start to our Basketball season. Also sad to note is that I am not living with the cute girl who is smashing her face into mine as seen here. I am optimistic about this new living situation, and although some may think I am a snooty rich girl, now that I live in Alpine, I would love to show them a copy of my bank statement. $14. Maybe I'm snooty, but definitely not rich. :) 

Where do I begin...to tell the story?

Don't you love the colors of fall, the crisp mountain air, and the warmth of apple cider? What a happy time of year. I am so very grateful to be living in this beautiful world; how frequently my mind runs through the hymn, "How Great Thou Art." Amen! What a great day to support Prop 8! Okay so that wasn't a smooth transition, but I must run to class and wanted to post a link...
